You have to be really disciplined to keep a blog up to date and make it interesting for others to read. Or it could just be a journal for one to look back on. But now that summer is here, why do I want to stay indoors in front of the PC and blog. But then I see so many people spend hours over facebook when they could be catching up with their friends the old fashioned way. Having a conversation over the old fashioned home telephone. Or catching up with friends in person. People are too time poor to stop and remember to do the things that they used to enjoy. Making time to catch up with friends and family. We barely have time to stop and enjoy life. Or rather most people are living life through the internet. Watching or reading about what others have done. I am so looking forward to my xmas holiday and time off to unwind from 2008.
By the way don't forget to do your tax return if you haven't already done it. Its due this week.

Finally a blog from Cindy.. and it looks like:
1. An excuse for not keeping her blog up-to-date
2. The longest piece of writing that I have ever seen Cindy do.. and I went to uni with her.. so I should know
I agree - I hope that a blog can grow to be a journal to look back on. Something that one has created and seen grow over time. And, hopefully unique enough that people take an interest and comment. Until now, I've never realised how important it is to receive comments - strangely, it justifies the time you invest in blogging.
It is sad that this has become a defacto form of communication in a day and age when people just don't have much time..
I wish I did a bricklaying course at TAFE - I could have clocked off at 5PM! If there is truly a next life, I would chose to be an "inhouse technician" - I hear life is great for them :)
